Frequently Asked Questions

Our courses are designed to be intellectually rigorous while remaining accessible to students from a range of academic backgrounds. Many of our programmes are interdisciplinary, allowing students to explore connections across subjects while collaborating within structured project groups.

We recommend reviewing the course brochures carefully to understand the academic focus, structure, and expectations of each programme. If you would like personalised guidance, our admissions team is happy to advise based on your academic interests and future aspirations.

English language requirements vary depending on the course and academic level. As a general guideline, students should be comfortable engaging in academic discussion, reading subject-specific materials, and presenting ideas in English.

While formal test scores (such as IELTS or TOEFL) may be required for certain programmes, we recognise that confidence and communication ability are equally important. Our teaching model encourages participation, and instructors provide structured guidance throughout the programme to support academic engagement.

If you are unsure whether you meet the language requirement, please contact our admissions team for advice.

Travelling abroad for the first time can feel both exciting and unfamiliar. From arrival to departure, our team provides structured guidance and pastoral support to ensure students feel confident and well-supported throughout their stay.

Before arrival, students receive detailed information about accommodation, schedules, and expectations. During the programme, our residential staff and Fellows team are available to assist with both academic and practical matters. Students are gradually introduced to the Cambridge environment, helping them build independence in a safe and supervised setting.

Our aim is to create an experience that is academically stimulating while also personally reassuring.

Project-Based Learning is a structured academic approach in which students apply theoretical concepts to practical problems.

Rather than working independently on abstract assignments, students collaborate in small groups to explore a defined academic question or challenge. Under faculty supervision, they conduct research, analyse evidence, develop solutions, and present their findings.

This approach strengthens critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and independent judgement — all essential skills for university-level study.
